Gender and Race in the Johns Hopkins University Report on Faculty Composition

Tables and charts from the September 2016 Johns Hopkins University Report on Faculty Composition detailing faculty by gender and race as commissioned by the Roadmap on Diversity and Inclusion.

If I read this correctly, and update to 2016, out of 215 women and 566 total faculty, I am the only Black Assistant Professor in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences.

The report summarizes these findings as follows:

Per the mandate outlined in the roadmap report, I, too, am looking forward to seeing these numbers change.

But until then, I’ll just be over here….
